Lord of the Under World by Kate Trinity

I was sent a copy of Kate Trinity's latest episode in her flash fiction series. I have gone through it, corrected some mistakes and probably missed some others as I kept getting engrossed in the story and forgot to check the spellings and grammar. So if there are mistakes please forgive me. Darkness holds on tight, refusing to show me the light. Insubordination, infatuation, injustice and impatience are all the reasons I reside here now. We were united in her goal, we had a plan and she stood back and left us to grow.

We gathered those who wished to help and fought the demons on the earth; we cleared their presence from the surface and imprisoned them below. We were united in the righteousness of our war. We fought side by side, slept in the same tent, ate together, drank together and ruled together. Until it was over, until the fighting stopped, then it all began to change.

He started making decisions about how things should be, without consulting any one at all, not even me. And when his decisions were questioned and one of us did not agree the questioner was told that they were the one who was wrong. She did not get involved, she had left it all to us, it was a kind of test and so she was letting her children decide what was best.
